Narcotics investigators received a community tip of possible home in the Foley area dealing methamphetamine.  Investigators arrived at a residence along the 100 block of Central Drive, in Lincoln County, and when they approached the residence, they could hear a window air conditioning unit being rattled and manipulated.

Investigators spoke with the residence owner 59-year-old Lee Baxter, of Lincoln County.  Investigators told him why they were there and he provided consent to search his residence and Baxter gave investigators his marijuana pipe.

Narcotics detectives removed the front grill of Baxter’s window air conditioning unit and located methamphetamine, baggies, razor blades and a scale hidden within the cooling coils.

Baxter was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of felony and one count of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. Baxter is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $25,000 cash only warrant.  Other conditions of bond may apply.
