The Lincoln County Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) learned through an anonymous complaint that Tracey Wheelock of the 400 block of Clark Road, in Eolia, was selling marijuana from his residence.
Narcotic investigators made contact with Wheelock at his residence and could smell burnt marijuana emitting from his front door. Wheelock told detectives he smoked marijuana several hours prior to their arrival and voluntarily handed over his drug paraphernalia.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Wheelock’s residence and found nine marijuana plants growing in back room under fluorescent lighting. The room was equipped with air filtration and heating systems. Detectives also discovered scales, plastic baggies, a Mason jar containing nine grams of marijuana and loaded .380 semi-automatic handgun.
Wheelock as subsequently arrested and charged with a Class B Felony for Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. Wheelock is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $20,000 cash only bond.
