On August 28, 2018, detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a sex offense of a 15-year-old female victim. During the forensic interview, detectives learned the female victim met, then 22-year-old Marlon Luckett, of Hazelwood, on a social media site.

According to the victim, in June of 2018 Luckett drove to her Lincoln County residence, raped her and gave her a sexually transmitted disease (STD).  Detectives spent months looking for Luckett but could not locate him until February 13, 2019, when he went to St. Charles Police Department to report his cellular phone stolen.

St. Charles Police Department took him into custody.

Lincoln County detectives spoke with Luckett who said he met the victim on Snapchat and he drove to her house in Lincoln County.  Luckett stated they had sex twice and knew she was underage at the time.  Luckett also stated he was diagnosed with an STD four-years earlier but claimed treatment.

Luckett is charged with Second Degree Statutory Rape, Second Degree Statutory Sodomy and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail.  The Honorable Judge James Beck set bond at $40,000 cash only and no contact with the victim.  Other conditions of bond may apply.
