LINCOLN COUNTY COUPLE ARRESTED FOR MANUFACTURING METH

Last week, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office along with the Multi County Narcotics and Violent Crimes Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence along the 500 block of Highway H, in Lincoln County.

During the search of the residence, detectives located three firearms located under a bed, including a stolen CZ .17 caliber rifle out of Lincoln County.  Detectives also located methamphetamine and smoking pipes in the residence.

While searching the attic, detectives discovered two methamphetamine manufacturing books and multiple chemicals and other materials that are commonly used in the manufacturing of meth in a laboratory setting.

Detectives arrested the residents of the home, 37-year-old Christopher Garrett and 27-year-old Jennifer Ziga, both of Lincoln County.  During the arrest, Ziga said to investigators, “I know it looks like a meth lab, but it’s really not.”

Garrett is charged with two counts of felony Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, felony Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and three counts of felony Unlawful Use of a Firearm.  Garrett is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $50,000 cash only bond.

Ziga is charged with felony Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, felony Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $15,000 cash only bond.
