On Monday, April 22, detectives with the Lincoln County Narcotics Unit received information that 22-year-old Charles Foster, of Lincoln County, was holding a large quantity of narcotics in a home along the 200 block of McQuie Street, in Lincoln County.  The information from the tip allowed investigators to apply and receive a search warrant for the residence.

On Tuesday, detectives served the search warrant and seized a large quantity of drug paraphernalia, duffel bags, scales, $1,600 in US currency, methamphetamine and 28 firearms to include shotguns, handgun and an AR-15.

Foster was taken into custody within the residence.  Detectives learned Foster had a prior felony record and by state law could not legally possess firearms.

Lincoln County Prosecutors charged Foster with Possession of a Controlled Substance and he currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail.  Honorable Judge Greg Allsberry set bond at $50,000 cash only.  Other conditions of bond may apply.
