LINCOLN COUNTY MAN CHARGED WITH RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

In early September, deputies responded to the 2100 block of North Rock Church Road for a burglary.  When deputies arrived, they observed a broken residential window and the homeowner said several property items were missing along with his Honda four wheeler.

Several weeks later, investigators learned of a property along the 100 block of Beverly Drive, in Lincoln County, had the stolen Honda four wheeler.  When investigators made contact with the homeowner. The homeowner told detectives he purchased the four wheeler from an individual and 39-year-old John Harding, of Elsberry.

Later that day, investigators interviewed Harding.  Harding told investigators he and another person had committed several burglaries in the Lincoln County area, to include the home along North Rock Church Road.

Harding was taken into custody and charged with felony Second Degree Burglary and felony Stealing.  Harding is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $10,000 cash only bond.  Other conditions of bond may apply.

Additional charges and arrests are expected in this case.
