On Monday, December 4, detectives with the Lincoln County Drug Task Force arrived at a residence along the 100 block of Moody Lane, in Lincoln County, looking for suspect who earlier fled on foot.
Detectives made contact with the homeowner who identified as himself as 72-year-old Ralph W. Knox. Knox allowed detectives to search his residence in search for the earlier suspect. While in the home, detectives noticed a clear plastic baggy containing crystal methamphetamine.
Detectives also observed a digital scale, a glass smoking pipe and multiple plastic baggies commonly used for distribution.
Knox refused to speak with detectives about the methamphetamine.
Knox was taken into custody and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Knox is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $10,000 cash only bond. Other conditions of bond may apply.
