LINCOLN COUNTY SEX OFFENDER CHARGED WITH THIRD FAIL TO REGISTER

On Saturday, detectives arrested 45-year-old Freddy Lee Wilkerson, of Lincoln County, for failure to register his employment with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office as required by RSMo 589.400-.426.

In November 2000, Wilkerson was found guilty of First Degree Child Molestation of a 14-year-old girl, which required him to register as a sex offender in the State of Missouri.

Based on Wilkerson’s criminal history and failing to register as a sex offender, he is eligible to be treated as a persistent offender.

Prosecutors charged Wilkerson with Fail to Register as a Sex Offender – 3rd Offense.  On July 22, 2019, Honorable Judge Gregory Allsberry set a no bond on Wilkerson.  On July 23, 2019, Honorable Judge Gregory Allsberry released him on a Personal Recognizance bond and he was released from the Lincoln County Jail on July 24, 2019, with a September court date.  Other conditions of bond may apply.
