METH SMOKE PARTY LEADS TO MULTIPLE ARRESTS

On Wednesday, narcotics detectives with the Multi County Narcotics and Violent Crimes Enforcement Unit received several complaints of narcotic sales at a residence along the 200 block of Maple St., in Hawk Point. Investigators arrived at the house and asked to speak with the homeowner, 71-year-old John Phillip Vohsen.

Detectives informed Vohsen why they were there and he gave investigators permission to search his residence. During the search, detectives located a wooden plank built into a master bedroom wall that gave way to a hidden opening. There detectives discovered numerous plastic baggies, a plastic baggy containing methamphetamine and 19 pills of morphine.

Also in the residence was, 40-year-old Shawn Fincher, of Warrenton; 48-year-old Wanda Lenk, of Havana, Illinois; 54-year-old Larry Smith, of Hawk Point; and 58-year-old Roxie Acy, of Warrenton.

Fincher was found sleeping in the residence. During a weapons pat down, detectives discovered drug paraphernalia and marijuana on him and a record check revealed Fincher had an active warrant for his arrest in Wentzville.

Lenk and Acy gave detectives permission to look through her purse where they found methamphetamine and marijuana.

Smith was located in the basement of the home. There he directed detectives to his methamphetamine located on a nightstand near a bed. Detectives also discovered a metal tin on his nightstand containing marijuana.

All five individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

John Vohsen is charged with two counts of felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $50,000 cash only bond.

Shawn Fincher is charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $2,500 cash only bond.

Wanda Lenk is charged with two counts of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense. Lenk is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $10,000 cash only bond.

Larry Smith is charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $25,000 cash only bond.

Roxie Acy is charged with two counts of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $10,000 cash only bond.
