The Patrol Division is the ‘front line’ unit of the Sheriff’s Office. These men and women patrol the highways, roads and subdivisions throughout the 640 square miles of Lincoln County. While patrolling is a large part of a deputy’s day, they are also responsible for answering emergency calls and calls for service. Our officers respond to a little more than 37,000 calls for service each year.

Patrol deputies pride themselves on their commitment to the community. They are constantly aware of their surroundings and make note of changes in the community, which is a vital part of good policing. Patrol deputies need your help too! If you become aware of a situation that needs their attention please contact Lincoln County Dispatch at 636-528-6100.

Traffic Safety

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety and safety advocates throughout the state to end traffic fatalities and serious injuries on public roadways. Missouri’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan, Show-Me Zero, outlines the state's plan for achieving success by implementing strategies most effective at mitigating the behaviors and issues most commonly associated with fatal and serious injury crashes in Missouri. Zero fatalities is our goal. Anything else is simply unacceptable
