The Patrol Division is the ‘front line’ unit of the Sheriff’s Office. These men and women patrol the highways, roads and subdivisions throughout the 640 square miles of Lincoln County. While patrolling is a large part of a deputy’s day, they are also responsible for answering emergency calls and calls for service. Our officers respond to a little more than 37,000 calls for service each year.
Patrol deputies pride themselves on their commitment to the community. They are constantly aware of their surroundings and make note of changes in the community, which is a vital part of good policing. Patrol deputies need your help too! If you become aware of a situation that needs their attention please contact the Patrol Division commander or email us let us know about it.
The Patrol Division is supervised by Captain Brian Wideman firstname.lastname@example.org
The Patrol Division is organized into four squads which are headed by four Patrol Sergeants and the Community Services Unit.
