During the night of October 31, 2017, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Compliance Unit conducted multiple Halloween compliance checks throughout the county.
Detectives learned 28-year-old Joshua Glover, no longer lived at his registered residence in Lincoln County and the house was padlocked. During the course of the investigation, investigators made contact with Glover’s Probation and Parole Officer to learn he moved into a family member’s residence a few houses down on Auburn Road.
Glover is required by Revised Statutes of Missouri to register his new address with the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives also learned Glover lost his job and failed to notify the Sheriff’s Office of his employment status as required by law. Glover’s whereabouts were unknown at the time.
Detectives finally caught up with Glover on November 21, 2017, and took him into custody.
In 2009, Glover was found guilty of felony Sexual Assault of a victim under the age of 18-year-old in Lincoln County. As result of the conviction, Glover is required to register as a sex offender.
Glover is charged with two counts of felony Failing to Register as a Sex Offender and is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $25,000 cash only bond. Other conditions of bond may apply.
