SHERIFF COTTLE ASKING FOR PUBLIC HELP IDENTIFYING THIEF

On October 17, around 3:45am, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the Drucker Lane, near Old Monroe, for a car break-in. When deputies arrived, they found the victim’s car doors open.  According to the victim, her purse, credit cards and other items were missing from within.

An activity check of the victim’s credit card showed it was used at the Winfield Fast Lane that morning to purchase gasoline.  While on scene, deputies observe other vehicle doors open along the street leading to multiple victims.

The pictures show the suspect pumping gas into a Toyota Corolla at the Winfield Fast Lane and the Sheriffs’ Office is asking help identifying this man.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call Detective Chasteen at 636-528-8546 ex. 3473 or direct message the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.  All tips are considered anonymous.
