Dear Lincoln County Residents,

Each year, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office hosts a Fifth Grade youth summer camp, which is open to all Fifth Graders within the county. Organizing two two-week youth camps require the Sheriff’s Office to plan, and train eight-months prior to the first day of camp. School Resource Officers (SROs) work afterhours with high school students during the eight month period to ensure a successful camp. In addition, SROs hosts multiple Friday night D.A.R.E. Dances to help support the growing cost of camp. Although our efforts are tireless, we can never raise enough money and supplies to host a totally free camp.

In early spring, the Sheriff’s Office solicits local business for donations of any kind. These donations have graciously allowed our youth camps to operate for the past 14 years. Without the support of local businesses and charitable contributions by county citizens, the Sheriff’s Office youth camp could not operate each year. The Sheriff’s Office formally recognize the following businesses, agencies, and individuals who contributed greatly to this year’s youth camp:

Witte Brothers

Geeding Construction

Woods Fort Golf Course

Lincoln County Egg Farm

Daddy Rays

Kroger Foods

Lions Choice

Dawn Food Products

Sam’s Club in Wentzville

Please be sure to patronize our local businesses so we may continue with the strong tradition of youth character building. Thank you.
