2016 Senior Citizens Academy

2016 Senior Citizen Agenda

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with The Lincoln County Council on Aging (LCCOA), in Troy, will host the 2016 Senior Citizens Academy. This three day academy will begin on, Monday, July 25 and run through Wednesday, July 27, from 12:30 p.m. through 3:30 p.m.

The academy is open to the Lincoln County public and will address topics pertaining to senior citizens to include, personal and residential safety, elderly scams in Lincoln County, abuse and neglect of elderly persons, a Lincoln County Jail tour, health and eye screenings, bingo prizes, and other available services within the community.

Seniors are NOT required to pre-register for the academy. All Lincoln County seniors who wish to participate can show up to the Troy LCCOA location before 12:30 p.m. on July 25, 26 and 27. It is my pleasure to present the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Five-Year Strategic Plan. Its purpose is to help the organization do a better job and get everyone working together to achieve our goals. This plan will serve as a roadmap for moving from where we are today to where we would like to be in the future. It will help keep the organization on track, and responsive to change while remaining faithful to its mission, vision, and core values.
