Lincoln County Juvenile Certified As Adult In Sexual Cases

On July 2, 2013, Lincoln County Judge Ben Burkemper certified, 16 year-old Chance M. Hannick, of Troy, Missouri, as an adult to stand trial for the sexual assault of two juveniles.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with other agencies, began investigating a sexual sodomy case in March involving a 5 year old male juvenile victim.  Hannick admitted to authorities of sexually sodomizing the victim along with other sexual acts.

During the course of the investigation, investigators from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office learned Hannick committed statutory rape of a 7 year old female.  Hannick later admitted to statutory rape.

Both assaults occurred in Hannick’s residence in Troy, Missouri.

Hannick is being held at the Lincoln County Jail for multiple counts of Child Molestation, Sexual Misconduct, Statutory Rape and Statutory Sodomy.  His bond is set for $50,000.00 cash only.
