LINCOLN COUNTY MAN CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE DOMESTIC ASSAULT

On May 18, 2020, deputies responded to the 500 block of Rabbit Hill Road, in Lincoln County, for a domestic disturbance.  Witnesses told the responding deputies 40-year-old Joseph Hunn, of Lincoln County, pointed a .357 revolver toward a family member and pulled the trigger twice, “playing Russian Roulette.”

Deputies recovered the revolver and found and removed one live cartridge from the handgun.

Deputies questioned Hunn who refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Prosecutors charged Hunn with First Degree Domestic Assault and Armed Criminal Action. Hunn is currently housed in the Lincoln County Jail. Honorable Judge Greg Allsberry set bond at $200,000 cash only. Other conditions of bond may apply.
