Lincoln County Man Charged With Two Counts Of Child Molestation

In March, the Lincoln County Sheriff Office began investigating a child molestation case of a Winfield man.

According to investigators, Thomas L. Ackermann, 33, of the 100 block of Swaying Pine Lane, Winfield, touched a 13 year-old female under her clothing as she lay sleeping.  In addition, Ackermann made the victim touch him under his pants at some point during the night.

The victim was a friend of the family who was staying overnight at the residence.  The Lincoln County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for Ackermann’s arrest for two-counts of First Degree Child Molestation.  His bond is currently set at $50,000.00 cash only.

Ackermann is currently at large and if anyone has information to his whereabouts are encouraged to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 636-528-6100.
