The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office with the help of the U.S. Marshal’s Office, completed a two-day sex offender compliance check of more than 140 Lincoln County registered sex offenders this week. Of those sex offenders, 127 were found to be in compliance.

Deputies and U.S. Marshals found 11 sex offenders outside of compliance, with five sex offenders requiring a follow up investigation into their status.

Lincoln County boasts one of the best compliance rates in the State of Missouri. Current non-compliance rate is at 2.1% compared to Missouri’s overall non-compliance rate of 8.3%.
